Neil and Georgie joined us on N60° – The Norwegian Challenge in 2016 and now they are taking on the North Pole as part of the Borne Arctic Challenge. That’s no small transition and one we are exceptionally proud of! They are raising money and awareness for Borne – a medical research charity whose aim is to identify the causes of premature birth to save lives, prevent disability and create lifelong health for mothers and babies.
They will be living on a crust of ice that covers most of the Arctic Ocean. Beneath the thin crust is 5,000 metres of dark, polar water. With an aim to raise £750,0000 money for Borne, we will be shouting from the rooftops for them.
Their route as of 17/4/18. You can follow their progress and support the cause here.
